Composting just happens – it is nature's way of keeping our planet clean - and by using our new Composter you can give nature a helping hand, and keep your garden tidy too!

Making compost can be as easy as putting a few vegetable scraps and grass clippings into a composter – or you can put a lot of effort into it. It's up to you, but whichever way you do it, you can relax in the knowledge that you are not only doing your bit for the environment - you are also going to have a fabulous fertiliser for your garden.

Top Tips:

1. Good things to put into your composter are: vegetable peelings, fruit waste, teabags, plant prunings, leaves, grass cuttings, shredded newspapers, wood ash, pet bedding, vacuum dust and broken egg shells.

2. It's best to site your composter on a level, well drained spot, allowing excess water to drain out and makes it easier for helpful creatures such as worms to get in and break down the contents. If you put your composter in a sunny spot it will speed up the composting process.
